Best Kept Secret krijgt in zijn eerste jaargang al af te rekenen met een afzegging. Schotse band Belle & Sebastian annuleert namelijk, om onbekende redenen, al zijn festival shows voor juni. Het festival gaat op zoek naar een vervanger.

Southside Festival or Hurricane Festival in Germany,
Best Kept Secret, The Netherlands,
Bravalla, Sweden, or
Escape to Music, Istanbul.

The USA tour will go ahead as scheduled in July as will all other festivals over the summer."
