In de wereld van de harde muziek is Century Media een belangrijk label. Groot was dan ook de teleurstelling dat het label, bijna een jaar geleden, de muziek van haar artiesten terugtrok van de online muziek dienst Spotify. Op die beslissing komt men nu gelukkig terug:

"We respect that music fans wanted to have instant access to our catalog via Spotify," said Century Media's North American chief Don Robertson in a statement. "But we also have to consider the rights of our artists. After practicing some due diligence, we're moving ahead confident that both the artist and the fan are being fairly served by this developing platform." (link)

Century media, wat de spotify ontwikkeling wel blijft evalueren in de toekomst, heeft onder andere Lacuna Coil, Sick of it All, Napalm Death, Ignite, Paradise Lost, Marduk, In Flames, Nevermore en Spineshank onder contract.

Ook sublabels InsideOut Music (Devin Townsend, Pain of Salvation, Neil Morse, Leprous, Riverside, Fates Warining e.v.a.) en Superball Music (Oceansize, InMe, Dredge, Long Distance Calling) zijn per direct terug met de volledige catalogus.
